First-Generation Mentoring Program – Apply to Mentor a First-Gen College Student
You could be part of someone’s success story!
The College is looking for local young alumni (graduates of the Class of 2000 and later) who were first in their family to attend college to serve as mentors to current first-generation students.
This program provides alumni mentors with mentoring resources and opportunities for on-campus engagement, plus the opportunity to have a positive impact on the experience of a first-generation student.
Mentors should be willing to commit about one to two hours a month to connect with their mentees, ideally in person, from January through June 2016.
Please visit ccss.uchicago.edu/support/mentoring for more details on the program and to apply.
Mentor applications due by December 11, 2015.
